Eastern Hills Academy is taking off in August 2008 with very high expectation of every child enrolled in the school. We are adopting the United States Curriculum with inclusion of necessary Nigerian subjects. At the end, a child may take the West African School certificate exam, G. C. E and or S. A. T. Parents’ involvement in this plan is very important. We believe that every child is entitled to education and that every child can learn; so we accept all children on first come first served basis, not on the child’s present level of performance. We shall be giving placement test, which will determine how the child will be placed.

 

We are committed to meeting every child at his/her level of performance and needs. It is very important that parents understand and respect this policy because it is non negotiable.

 

Eastern Hills Academy will offer all year round program and enrollment. Our school year begins in mid August and ends in mid May. We run a summer program which will sometimes include International Excursion and it depends on our ability to obtain visa, invitation from host school and parents readiness to pay for the trip.

 

Our Early child education program is of the United Nations Standards. We have in our team a childhood development specialist who is constantly updating her skills and expertise in this area. We are paying particular attention to our early child program because it determines how a child develops emotionally, socially, physically and cognitively
